One of the core elements of case managing a student in the Communities In Schools of North Texas methodology is to have the student complete a Goal Contract. The contract helps the student define short and long term goals in both academic and personal settings. We believe a goal contract helps the student buy into their own success.
C.W. is a new student to Lewisville High School – Harmon in Lewisville, TX, and she is not shy about attending a new school. She has one of the bubbliest personalities that we have seen, and she is so much fun to be around.
Though we’ve seen C.W. soar in her social life this past semester, she struggled academically. C.W. was very thoughtful when filling out her goal contract and set high goals for her academic achievement. Click here to read her Student Goal Contract. She was very proud and determined to stick with these goals, and she did!
We have seen C.W. go above and beyond in her academic accomplishements, and she did not hesitate to come by and share the good news with us every time she achieved them in a new class! We cannot wait to watch her strive on these goals for the rest of the school year. Keep pushing forward, C.W!
