CISNT afterschool programs ensure a safe, enriching space for kids to learn and grow after school. Site Coordinators work alongside a team of part-time staff and AmeriCorps Members to provide 15 hours of academic support and enrichment each week at no cost to students or families.
CISNT afterschool programs enhance student learning through services intended to equip and empower overall academic success, well-being, and access to enrichment and developmental resources. Afterschool programs provide students with academic enrichment, mentoring and team building, family and parental support activities, and college and workforce readiness activities depending on specific campus needs, student opportunity gaps, and student input. CIS afterschool programs at Borman Elementary, Evers Park Elementary, and Rivera Elementary also provide students with case management support.
