CIS of North Texas’s Internship Program provides professional learning opportunities for bachelor and master level students pursuing a career in social work, counseling, family studies, non-profit administration, marketing, and research. Below is an overview of the different internship opportunities available.

Campus Based Internships

Campus Based internship opportunities are available for bachelor and master level social work, family studies, and counseling majors. Interns are placed on a school campus (elementary, middle, or high school) and receive guided hands-on learning and supervision from a qualified professional in the field.  Interns will have multiple learning opportunities; psycho-social assessments, intervention and service planning, progress documentation, crisis intervention, group work, parent engagement, academic support, client advocacy, and systems change.  Click HERE to view the Campus Based Internship description.
