Meet Christina Lopez
Christina Lopez started her journey with CIS as a Social Work intern in December of 2019 through CIS Central Texas before graduating with her BSW from Texas State University. Christina really enjoyed her experience with the CIS organization and completed her second internship through CIS Greater Tarrant County to receive her MSW from Tarleton State University of May 2021. After graduation, she began her career with CIS Greater Tarrant County as a Program Manager in August 2021 where she opened the first CIS program at Morningside Middle School in FWISD for two years. Christina made the move from North Richland Hills, TX to Lewisville, TX opening an opportunity to join the CISNT family as the Program Director for Zone 5.
Christina is passionate about creating new beginnings for students and their families since she shares similar obstacles growing up in the school system. Christina is responsible for providing supervision and guidance to 11 CISNT Site Coordinators that serve campuses in LISD and DISD. In her free time, Christina enjoys attending concerts, festivals, watching the Dallas Mavericks play, and traveling with her partner, family, and friends. Christina likes to end a hard day of work by spending time with her Labradoodle named Maverick, who greets her at the door with his favorite toy, every single day.
