Mental Health Coordinators
CISNT Mental Health Coordinators provide licensed professional counseling services to CISNT students experiencing mental and behavioral health struggles. Services are provided on the school campus, eliminating barriers to accessibility that many families face. Services are provided at no charge to the student or the family.
AmeriCorps Members
For the past 14 years, CISNT has partnered with local colleges and universities to provide college students with opportunities to develop professional skills in school settings. CISNT, in partnership with AmeriCorps (AMCO), gives college students not only direct practice in their career fields, but provides them with enhanced training, supervision, leadership development, and an educational financial credit. CISNT will support 87 AMCO members during the 2023-24 school year, empowering the next generation of social service professionals with the knowledge and skills to build a better, stronger future for their communities.
Family Engagement Specialists
CISNT’s Family Engagement Specialists work to bridge the gap between the school and the family to ensure that parents have access to the resources to help their student and their family thrive. The ACE Family Engagement Specialist works with Site Coordinators in CISNT’s Afterschool Programs to provide parents and guardians with unique events and services, based on campus and family needs. The Chin Family Engagement Specialist works alongside Lewisville area Site Coordinators to serve the Chin population in Lewisville with linguistically appropriate supports.
