Hi Ethan,
I hope you are doing well! Keep practicing your chess moves so that when I see you next time we can play the game of the century :). Be good buddy!
Mr. Grant
Isaiah,
I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you. Hope you are staying safe and enjoying yourself during this extended break. I have heard that you are able to make connections with your teacher. I am sure it is nice to see her.
Happy Easter,
Mr. Gary
Caleb,
I’ve been thinking about you and hoping you are doing OK. It’s starting to get frustrating not being able to go out. Are you missing School?

Hi Rodrigo –
Happy birthday! I didn’t get to see you or help celebrate with you for your 10th birthday. I am so sorry. I miss you very much. I am so sorry that your school and your classmates and your teachers have to stay at home because of this virus. I know you are missing your friends and your teachers – and I hope you are missing me a bit!
I am staying home as well. We have not been able to see our family and friends except from a distance. We have had to sit in our car and wave to our grandkids who stand at their front door! Isn’t this a crazy time?
But I believe if we stay home and stay safe, then this crisis will end soon. I hope that I can see you before school is out, but no one is sure. If I do not see you before summer, please be safe and keep up your reading and math over the summer.
I will see you – I don’t know when, but I will see you as soon as possible. Please give my best wishes to your mother and family.
Love and peace to you all,
Nancy Rodgers, mentor
Dear sweet Madison,
It’s hard to believe it’s been over a month since I’ve seen you, and I’m not sure when I’ll see you again. This is a very strange time and I hope and pray you and your family are well.
So, girl, what are you doing with your time? Do you have a favorite book you’ve been reading or are you working on your assignments? How is the multiplication coming along, though you’re doing good on that. I’m thinking your mom is still working, and I hope she’s staying safe and maybe you’re helping her out at home.
I’ve been working on a wordsearch book and yesterday I started on a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. My daughter and granddaughter live close enough that they sometimes come over. Last week I started walking a couple of miles each day. We’ll see how long that lasts!!
If school should happen May 4, it will be bittersweet because that’s also the last week we can see you before school gets out for the summer.
I think of you often and Hope you’re doing the social distancing, though it’s hard. Take care and stay safe.😍😎
Fondly,
Ms. Sally
Lanetta,
I sure miss seeing you every Wednesday! How are you? The weather has been nice to sit outside and do some fun things with your family. I love reading outside. Maybe you can read outside, too. I, also, love taking nature walks. I’ve seen ducks, bunnies, deer, and a big hawk. Yesterday, I saw a beautiful butterfly! Maybe you could draw what you see on your family walk! Have a great week, and I hope to see you very soon!
Hugs!

Hello Andreas!
I hope this message find you and your family safe and healthy. I sure do miss our conversations, playing outside, and some of the games we played inside. You are definitely “the king” of UNO, but I think I’m a little ahead of you in chess. At least for now! Have you been practicing with your necktie? We may have left the necktie I picked up for you in the CIS room now that I think about it.
Anyway, I hope that you are using some of this extra time to read and maybe do something nice for your family members. It always makes me feel good to do something for others, especially during challenging times. I’m hoping school will reopen soon so I can see you again. I’m missing our Wednesdays together.
Take care of yourself. I’m looking forward to catching up with you very soon!
Your mentor,

Hi Victor!
It’s been a while since I’ve seen you at school. I hope that you and your family are safe and healthy. Are you finding some time to practice your reading? I always enjoy our time during lunch to read some books aloud. I’m sure that you are watching a little extra TV, especially the programs with Goku Plush. Make sure during some of the nice weather days to go outside and enjoy the sunshine. Exercise is very good for you! May you are finding extra time to play with your sisters. You are very lucky to have such nice sisters, and they are lucky to have you as their brother.
I’m hoping that school will reopen soon as I am missing our Wednesdays together. I am sure that you are missing your teacher and your CISNT Site Coordinator, as well as your classmates. I’m certain that your teachers and friends are missing you as I am missing you!
Take care of yourself!
“Mr. H”
Hi Steven!
I miss getting to hang with you right now! Things sure are weird. I’m really busy, but I’m also trying to figure out how to be a normal person, you know? Are you going crazy yet? I hope you’re getting to do things that are fun and meaningful to you while at home. Do you get to do video chats with friends? I look forward to seeing you again as soon as we can. Here are a couple of pictures to remember me by! 😉
Your mentor,
Marc
