Your decision to support the efforts of Communities In Schools of North Texas is your voluntary action for the common good of your community. The North Texas community is a great region to live because of the deep tradition of giving and sharing through a vast array of community based non-profit and faith based organizations. To ensure that your support of Communities In Schools of North Texas earns the respect and trust so deeply deserved, and so that future investors of Communities In Schools of North Texas can have full confidence in the use of their generous support towards the mission of preventing at-risk students from dropping out of school, we declare that all Communities In Schools of North Texas donors have these rights:

1. To be informed of the mission of Communities In Schools of North Texas, of the way we intend to use donated resources, and of our capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes.
2. To be informed of the identity of the board of directors, and to expect the Communities In Schools of North Texas board of directors to exercise prudent judgment in its stewardship responsibilities.
3. To have access to the most recent financial statements of Communities In Schools of North Texas.
4. To be assured their gifts will be used by Communities In Schools of North Texas for the purposes for which they were given.
5. To receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition from Communities In Schools of North Texas for the generous support they are providing to help at-risk student dropout prevention.
6. To be assured that information about their donation to Communities In Schools of North Texas is handled with respect and with confidentiality to the extent provided by law.
7. To expect that all relationships with individuals representing Communities In Schools of North Texas will be professional in nature.
8. To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of Communities In Schools of North Texas or hired solicitors.
9. To have the opportunity for their names to be deleted from mailing lists that Communities In Schools of North Texas may intend to share.
