Roberto is a Senior at Lewisville High School and is a member of the student council mentoring program, High School Buddies. He is also a former DeLay student who was happy to be returning to his old school and the chance it gave him to give back. This semester he has been working with a group of ESL newcomer students. These students have been in the US for less than a year. He has been helping with basic vocabulary words, reading, and school projects. The students have loved having him help! He is a great asset to these students as they are learning their way in a new country.
