Lizet De Rojas joined CISNT in 2012 as a Social Work intern and quickly found her calling in student support and advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Texas and later completed her Master of Social Work at Angelo State University. After her internship, she joined the CISNT team full-time as a Site Coordinator in Lake Dallas ISD. In this role, she successfully launched and expanded Case Management Programs at Lake Dallas Elementary, Middle, and High School. In 2018, she transitioned to the CISNT administrative team, where she has served as Program Director and Senior Director of Case Management Programs. She currently holds the position of Chief Program Officer, overseeing internal program development, operations, and staff support with a focus on data, research, evaluation, and fidelity to the Communities In Schools (CIS) model.

As a proud first-generation high school and college graduate, Lizet is deeply committed to educational equity. She believes every student deserves access to the tools, resources, and relationships they need to succeed.

Outside of her work, Lizet enjoys traveling with family and friends—and relaxing at home with her two cats, Chips and Guac.
