Meet Melissa Castillo

Melissa Castillo joined the CISNT team as an intern in July 2019 and brings a strong background in case management and family engagement. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Texas and her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in August 2021.

Melissa is passionate about creating safe spaces for students and fostering meaningful connections with families. In her role as Senior Director of Case Management, she provides strategic leadership by guiding a team of Program Directors, who in turn support and oversee Site Coordinators delivering comprehensive wraparound services. Through this work, Melissa helps ensure students have a strong, connected community of support that allows them to thrive academically and personally.

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with family and friends and planning her next travel adventure.
