PNM Resources Foundation’s 40th Anniversary Celebration Supports CISNT

Communities In Schools of North Texas is thrilled to be a PNM Resources Foundation 40th Anniversary Grant recipient! In celebration of the PNM Resources Foundation’s 40th anniversary and commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, CISNT was one of ten organizations selected to receive a $40,000 grant award. The Foundation awarded $700,000 in grants to forty-four nonprofits that have demonstrated a commitment to important issues around education, inclusion, the environment, and community vitality. 

CISNT case management programs serve students in K-12th grade who are at-risk of dropping out of school, empowering them to reach their full potential. Support from the PNM Resources Foundation will help to provide school-based case management services to students at-risk in Lewisville ISD, which equip them with the tools and opportunities to stay in school and achieve in life

The PNM Resources Foundation hosted a 40th Anniversary Grant and Partnership celebration on June 16th to recognize grantees, employees, and the Foundation’s years of giving. The celebration featured a student-led, live art installation performance by Artrageous Artreach campers, who highlighted the stories of each of the ten organizations receiving a $40,000 grant. CISNT was thrilled to be recognized during the performance, where students celebrated “safe and successful students, powered by PNM!”

The PNM Resources Foundation has been committed to supporting nonprofits in the communities it serves since its inception in 1983. Over the years, the Foundation has awarded millions of dollars in grants to organizations that work to improve the quality of life for people PNM serves across New Mexico and PNM’s sister company, Texas-New Mexico Power (TNMP) in Texas.
