“Mr. Larry is back!” That was the exciting news I got to share with Christopher, a fourth grade student at Lakeland Elementary in Lewisville, TX. We are so thankful for wonderful mentors like Larry Powers who dedicate their time every week to invest in students like Christopher.
After having to take some time off for surgery, I was thrilled to get the call that Mr. Larry was ready to return. Even more thrilled was Christopher, whom Mr. Larry began mentoring during his third grade year when he began to face some behavior challenges in school.
Thank you so much Mr. Larry. We are grateful for your valuable time spent with us, and we’re excited to watch Christopher continue to becoming a great leader under your guidance!
